| Palermo, Thomas J., Palermo, Thomas J. 84 of Seaville, NJ passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Ocean View Center in Ocean View, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was formerly of Howell Township, NJ before moving to Seaville, NJ four months ago. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army before his honorable discharge. Mr. Palermo worked as an Electrical Engineer for Bell Telephone Labs in Holmdel, NJ for 38 years before his retirement in 1989. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus in Howell Township, NJ. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Palermo, (nee Occhiuzzo) of Seaville, NJ, three children, Joseph M. Palermo and his wife Kathleen of Ocean City, NJ, Thomas Palermo and his wife Renee of West Milford, NJ, Sister Dolores Marie Palermo, C.R. of Castleton, NY, a brother, Pat Palermo of Levittown, Long Island, NY, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A Mass of Resurrection will be offered Monday at Twelve o’clock noon from the Church of the Resurrection, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ where friends may call from ten o’clock until the time of mass. Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.
